Hi Andy,

Yeah mate you’re not far behind me, although I’ve dropped down to 656,630 !!!

I’ll be doing a post on Monday with some good tips that I’ve found, on how to improve your Alexa rank. I think these tips will help you a lot if you put them into action.

Sure we can have a competition between ourselves if you want, you don’t really need to ask me though. I’ve been having silent competitions with a few people, trying to catch them up.

There’s nothing wrong with finding someone with a better rank than yourself, and trying everything you can to get past them. It seems to be working for me!

I’ll check out your latest post soon.

Hi Paul,

How are things?

I was at Marcus’s blog a while ago and he is talking about something similar so I popped over to Alexa and found my ranking. It was something like 890,00 odd.

Can’t remember exactly so we are, or were about the same spot so I’ll be keeping a close eye on you to see how far in front of me you get. And then I’ll pinch what you’ve been doing.

Or I’ll try like buggery to stay about 10,000 ahead of you.

Maybe we should have a wee competition. Give me something to work toward? lol.

After reading Rob’s post, I also installed Alexa and using various traffic generating techniques, I watched my alexa rating drop by 1 million in 8 days! I hope to break below 1 million in the next two days or so. -Norene

Hey Jeff,

Just been over to Marcus’ blog after reading you had been over there. He’s doing really well, my overall aim is to get into the top 250,000. And of course to be in the top 99,999 would be amazing.

I’ve only just started learning about Alexa rankings myself, I don’t put too much stock on them myself, but I know a lot of others people do.

I’m learning more and more about how to improve your Alexa rank everyday, I will share some of my knowledge in a blog post soon.

I love setting myself goals, and making up the ‘Alexa rank challenge’ and turning it into a game is a great way to inject some fun into things.
